Description
Solid brass hinges with a glaze that keeps them golden
Five styles of mini cabinet hinges — flat, butterfly, pagoda-finial and two
no-mortise “mother-child” profiles — machined from solid brass bar, brushed,
then sealed with a high-temperature glaze. The brass runs all the way through:
no plated zinc, no painted steel, nothing to chip or peel. And because the
surface is glazed rather than left raw, these hinges keep their soft champagne
colour year after year instead of darkening like unsealed brass.
Why solid brass (not plated)
- Solid brass through-and-through — leaves are 1.5–2.5 mm
thick solid brass, so the colour is the metal itself, not a coating - High-temperature glazed finish — the brushed surface is
sealed at high temperature and resists oxidation, so it stays golden without
yearly polishing - 5 styles × 16 sizes — one hardware family for drawers,
cabinet doors, shoe cabinets and wardrobes, overall length 50–100 mm - 1-piece minimum — order exactly as many pairs as your
project needs
Five styles, one family
Flat — the classic square-corner flush hinge, the most
invisible choice. Butterfly — rounded, decorative leaves for
jewelry boxes and small cabinets. Pagoda — pointed finials on
both ends of the pin, the most ornamental accent of the five.
No-mortise (mother-child) — the large leaf has a cutout that
receives the door edge, so the door hangs without any chisel work; the
large version uses a wider leaf and a thicker 2.0 mm gauge for heavier doors.
How to choose and install
All five styles mount flat (surface-mounted). Hold the hinge closed
against the door and cabinet face, mark the screw holes, drill pilot holes and
drive in the screws. For the no-mortise styles, the door edge sits inside the
large leaf’s cutout — no recess to cut. Each pair is enough to hang one door.

Specifications
· Material: solid brass (not plated) · Finish: brushed, high-temperature
glazed · Mounting: surface-mount, flat · Sizes: 16, overall length

Care
The glaze seals the brass, so routine care is just a dry or slightly damp
cloth. Do not use brass polish, vinegar or abrasive pads — they are
unnecessary and would dull the glaze. The colour you receive is the colour it
stays.

FAQ
- Are the hinges sold singly or in pairs? They are sold per pair —
two hinges, enough to hang one door. - Will the colour darken over time? No — the high-temperature glaze
seals the surface against oxidation, unlike raw brass which tarnishes. - Do I need to chisel a recess? No. All five styles are
surface-mounted; the no-mortise styles simply receive the door edge in their
cutout. - Is this solid brass or plated steel? Solid brass throughout — the
glaze is a clear protective seal on top of the metal, not a colour coating.
