Description
A Carved, Faceted and Plain Brass Range
Sixteen pieces in one finish, built around a single visual idea: shallow relief that catches light without shouting. Nine of the sixteen carry relief carving, the 33 mm knob is faceted, the two largest bar pulls are turned and ridged, and the T pull and the ring pulls are left plain. The range covers brass drawer pulls, knobs, single-hole pulls and ring pulls, so a run of cabinetry can be fitted from one set rather than assembled from different collections.
The motifs are taken from Chinese lattice and meander work — the squared key border, the window-pane grid, the wave pattern — reduced to a depth of a millimetre or two so they read as texture at arm’s length and as pattern close up.
Why Solid Brass
Every piece is machined from solid brass rather than cast in zinc and plated. That matters at the two points where hardware usually fails: the thread in the stem, and the edge where a plated finish wears through. A solid brass stem takes a screw without stripping, and a knock or a scratch shows as brass rather than as a lighter metal underneath.
The Carving: Lattice, Meander and Wave
Three motifs run through the carved pieces. The lattice pattern divides a round or square face into offset rectangles, the way a traditional window is divided by its glazing bars. The meander, or key pattern, is a continuous squared spiral used as a border. The wave pattern is a set of fine parallel curves that reads almost like brushed metal until you are close enough to see the lines.
Because the background of each carved face is left slightly matte while the raised lines are polished, the pattern holds up under direct light instead of flattening out.
Four Types, One Visual Language
Knobs sit on a single screw and suit doors and small drawers. Single-hole pulls give a longer grip than a knob without needing a second hole. Bar pulls span two holes and carry the carving across the full length, which is where the patterns are easiest to see. Ring pulls hang loose and are the most traditional of the four, useful where a period detail is wanted on a plain door.
Knobs: 25 to 40 mm
The smallest is a 25 mm carved cylinder, 30 mm high, with the pattern wrapped around the barrel and a plain polished cap. The lattice knobs come in 25, 29 and 39 mm diameters and in a 40 mm square, all on a short flared stem so the face stands clear of the door. The 33 mm octagonal knob is stepped rather than carved, with three faceted tiers that throw light in flat planes instead of lines.
Single-Hole Pulls: 56 and 60 mm
The 56 mm T pull is a flat bar on a rounded foot, 20 mm wide and 23 mm high, with a plain top and a softly radiused underside for the fingers. The 60 mm paddle pull sets a carved disc at one end of a flat lever, so the pattern sits where the thumb lands. Both use one hole and are the practical choice for a drawer front that is too narrow for a two-hole pull.
Bar Pulls: 60 to 146 mm
Three carved bar pulls run from 60 to 100 mm, 7 to 8.5 mm wide and 23 to 24 mm high, with the pattern cut into the face and a plain chamfer along the top edge. The two larger pulls, at 112 mm and 146 mm, change language: a turned, ridged bar on octagonal feet, closer to a traditional cabinet handle than to the flat carved bars.
Read the Centers Before You Order
The two-hole pulls are drilled to four different center distances: 32, 64, 96 and 128 mm. A 60 mm pull and a 100 mm pull can share the same 64 mm centers, and the 80 mm carved bar also uses 64 mm, so length alone does not tell you the drilling. Measure from the center of one existing hole to the center of the other before choosing, or drill fresh to the centers given in the table below.
Ring Pulls: Three Mountings
The 65 mm ring hangs from a rectangular plate drilled at 10 mm centers, which is the sturdiest of the three and suits a drawer front. The 47 mm ring hangs from a single cylindrical post. The 40 mm ring sits on a small round rosette with a single screw. All three swing freely, so allow a little clearance behind the ring where a drawer front is close to a frame.
Finish: Natural Brass
The range is supplied in one finish only. Natural Brass is a warm golden tone that sits between yellow and rose, with the fine polishing lines left visible on the flat faces. Because every piece is finished the same way, a knob bought now and a pull bought later still match.

Installation, Screws and Door Thickness
Each piece arrives with an M5 × 25 mm mounting screw. That length suits door and drawer fronts from 18 to 20 mm thick, which covers most cabinet and wardrobe construction. On a thinner panel, shorten the screw or add a washer rather than over-tightening, which is what usually cracks a painted face. Two-hole pulls are best fitted with the holes drilled from a template or measured twice; a difference of a millimetre between centers will show as a pull that sits crooked.
Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Warm water on a barely damp cloth is enough for fingerprints, dried immediately. Avoid abrasive creams, scouring pads and metal polish on the carved faces, since they cut into the polished lines and leave the pattern looking flat.
